Located by the flowing Rio Chirripo at the base of the highest mountain in Costa Rica is the beautiful retreat center Finca Mia, created by owners Ian and Michelle as both a home for their two young children and a retreat center for exploring transformative experience and spiritual growth.
This will be our magical destination for a week of retreat, personal and community growth, exploration, and movement from April 1-7, 2012. Spend the week building connections to self, community and your environment using tools, strategies and experiential exploration that inspire growth in body, mind and spirit. Our focus will be on discovering, releasing and unleashing the authentic self, blending principles and tools from contact improvisation, movement exploration, qigong, contemplative practices and meditation.

Marguerite bridges more than 20 years experience in human potential development via extensive and diverse graduate and participant research, somatic and internal arts, dance and contemplative practices. She has developed and teaches human potential, movement and expressive arts workshops and classes.
Nick has over 20 years of experience in Contact Improvisation and many years as a meditation teacher and practitioner. He leads tours to Central and South America and teaches paragliding, after a career in alternative healthcare.
